    Alternative:
    AMI = Australian Motor Industries (a company in melbourne, Victoria, Australia, that assembled Mercedes Benz, Rambler, Rover, Triumph, Toyotas)
    OSSI = slang spelling for Aussie ie Australian.

    Therefore, the plate could go on an AMI assembled Rambler, for example.
